All Saints’ Day
Each year, Spain observes a national holiday on November 1st. Most offices and shops will remain closed as many people celebrate a holiday of remembrance of deceased relatives and friends. The day, known as Día de Todos los Santos (All Saints’ Day), will see many families – especially those with older relatives, travelling to cemeteries to pay their respects to the dead. Most people will bring bouquets of fresh flowers to decorate the graves.
